Course Content/Agenda

Delegates will learn three basic ceramic decorating techniques in one day.  Bisque, tools and supplies will be provided. No previous experience is required.

Brush-Strokes.  Knowing the various brush strokes used to create effects, how much colour to apply, how to load the brush to achieve different results and even the grip of the paint brush all count towards endless design effects.

Blending is the technique of painting colours so that there is a gentle and gradual transition from one to the other – it is a key skill for any artist on any surface.

Shading and contrasting visually defines artwork, adds depth, creates illusions and makes art three dimensional. Without shading designs can appear flat. Learn how to shade using ceramic products.
